When will you stop ‘having’ anxiety and start feeling better?

Having anxiety is not a choice………………….

I know, from personal experience, that having anxiety is not a choice! I didn’t choose to have anxiety or depression or stress…………. It’s not like I woke up one morning and thought “hmmmm today I think I’ll be really anxious!” It crept up on me over time and then one day it hit me like a speeding train – BANG! I know that nobody in their right mind would consciously WANT to have anxiety!

 

But there is a choice?

When I was diagnosed as having anxiety, depression and stress I had a choice…………. I had a choice to accept it and live with it for the rest of my life and possibly ruining the rest of my life – or I could choose to find out everything I possibly could about these conditions and try to find a way out. This is exactly what I did…………. I spent a long time reading, listening, training, going to seminars and attending webinars to find out everything I could and eventually I found out what worked and managed to rid myself of those horrific conditions.

 

I don’t say this to impress you……………..

I’m not telling you that I managed to rid myself of anxiety to impress you, I’m telling you to impress upon you the fact that you ALWAYS have a choice. Right now in this moment you have a choice… you can keep reading or hit the close button – BUT – before you take that second option make sure you’ve thought it through because making the right choice will make the difference!

 

Start feeling a little better today…………..

Please allow me to ask you a few questions that I would like you to seriously consider and even write down the answers to if you are able:

  • Up until right now you’ve associated yourself as having anxiety haven’t you?
  • How would you really like to feel on a daily basis? Describe it fully! How will it feel? What will you see and hear? Paint a real picture in your mind of how good this is!
  • How many days will you need to feel that way to know that you will never feel anxiety again?
  • Looking forwards – When you get to that many days how do you feel now compared to how it used to be
  • With this in mind how do you feel now about that future you?
